Senior Management

Per Lange
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Lange has been with the company since 1995, when Eitzen acquired EAC Shipping A/S. He has been a part of the management of the Bulk division since 1997 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2006. He started his shipping career in 1981 in A.P. Moller-Maersk where he was a part of the Maersk Bulk team from 1985 to 1995. Mr. Lange was appointed Chairman of the Commercial Committee of Danish Shipping in 2015. Mr. Lange is a Danish citizen and resides in Denmark.

Henrik Sleimann Petersen
Group Executive Vice President, Head of Asia

Mr. Petersen joined the company in 1997. Until 2006, he held the position as Director of Eitzen Bulk (USA) Inc., when he was transferred to the Copenhagen office, and became part of the global bulk management team. He was promoted Managing Director of Eitzen Bulk Shipholding A/S in 2008. He started his shipping career in 1986 in A.P. Moller-Maersk where he was part of the Maersk Bulk team to 1994, including overseas postings in Taiwan and Brazil. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Petersen was a senior partner in a Danish dry cargo broker company. He is a graduate from the Maersk Shipping Academy and has completed executive development programs at a.o. the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA and INSEAD, France. He is a board member of Ultra Summit (Singapore) Pte. Ltd, as well as various subsidiaries of Ultrabulk group. Mr. Petersen is a Danish citizen and resides in Singapore.

Hans-Christian Olesen
Executive Vice President, Head of Panamax & Supramax

Mr. Olesen was employed by the East Asiatic Company (EAC) in 1987 and transferred to the Eitzen group in 1997 in connection with the latter's take-over of EAC's bulk activities. Mr. Olesen was stationed for two years in Vancouver, Canada and two years in New York, USA. He returned to the head office in Copenhagen in 1994 in order to take responsibility for the company's chartering department for the European dry cargo division. In 2003, he took responsibility for the Far East and Middle East activities and subsequently in 2007 took global responsibility for the company's Supramax activities. In 2014, Mr. Olesen also took charge of the company's global Panamax activities. Mr. Olesen has a degree in international trade from the Copenhagen Business School. He is a board member of a number of Ultrabulk subsidiaries. Mr. Olesen is the Chairman of the Baltic Exchange European Advisory Committee, and this capacity also acts as an Advisor to the Baltic Exchange Index Committee. Mr. Olesen is a Danish citizen and resides in Denmark.

Klaus Munk Andersen
Executive Vice President, Head of Handysize

Mr. Andersen started his shipping career in 1989 as a shipping trainee at the East Asiatic Company (EAC). In 1996, he was stationed to former Hong Kong office as General Manager of the dry cargo activities in Asia. He transferred to the Eitzen Group when they acquired the EAC dry bulk activities in 1997. In 2000 he established the company's present Asian head quarters in Singapore and which today remains responsible for Ultrabulk's Asia activities. In 2004, Mr. Andersen was also appointed Managing Director for the company's ship owning activities in Singapore. Mr. Andersen was relocated to Santiago and appointed Head of Handysize on 1st August, 2014. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration - Marketing Management from Copenhagen Business School (1995). Mr. Andersen is a Danish citizen and resides in Chile.

Søren C. Thomsen
Senior Vice President, Head of Operations

Mr. Thomsen started his shipping career in 1987 as a shipping trainee at the East Asiatic Company (EAC). After graduation, Mr Thomsen was stationed abroad at the company's offices first in the USA and England. In 1993, he was promoted deputy General Manager of the shipping department of Saudi Industrial Export Company in Riyadh. Mr. Thomsen returned to EAC's bulk division in Copenhagen in 1995, and transferred to the Eitzen Group when they acquired the EAC dry bulk activities in 1997. Also in 1997, Mr. Thomsen was promoted to head the Eitzen Bulk operations department, which also includes the responsibility for IT, fuel procurement and legal commercial issues. His theoretical education has been complimented by a management development programme that includes courses at such institutions as INSEAD. Mr. Thomsen is a Danish citizen and resides in Denmark.

Francisco Larrain
Executive Vice President, CFO Ultranav
Mr. Larrain joined the Ultramar Group in Chile in 2008 and has held different positions within the Group thereafter. He has a financial and analytical background from several positions, including Senior Business Analyst in Ultrabulk in Copenhagen from 2011 to 2014 and most recently as Head of Business Development & Planning in Ultranav in Santiago from 2015 to 2016. He joined Ultranav Business Support in Copenhagen in November 2016. Mr. Larrain studied Industrial Engineering at Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile. From 2014 to 2015 he studied an MBA with a focus on Finance at the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago, USA. Mr. Larrain is Chilean citizen and resides in Chile.
Oskar Fabricius
Head of Ultranav Business Support and Business Intelligence
Mr. Oskar Fabricius joined Ultranav Business Support in 2014 first as Head of Operations Control and then a few years later promoted to Head of Operations Control and Business Intelligence, responsible for creating the Business Intelligence unit we have in Ultrabulk today. He has a financial and analytical background from above mentioned positions, but he has also worked closer to the business as he started his career in shipping as a shipping trainee in Nordic Tankers in 2011 where he after ended traineeship was an operator for 1 year prior to joining Ultranav Business Support. Mr. Fabricius studied a Master of Science in Business Administration and Auditing at Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark. Mr. Fabricius is Danish citizen and resides in Denmark.
